Anyone on here have a scotty?

My missus has wanted one forever and I'm considering giving in and getting one.

We have 2 cats at the moment, but I'm sure they would get used to a dog quickly.

We have plenty of time to walk and exercise it etc.

Thanks.

Sorry was going to reply to you. I have never owned a Scottie but seen a few over the years. Seem t be good strong if little wilful dogs. Really important to keep their weight under control and need professional grooming regularly but generally seem good natured dog. Not sure what they are generally like with other dogs and being terriers they do obviously have a stubborn streak in them!

I think they are good little dogs and not too many so hopefully not overbred, not aware are any hereditary factors but would prob suggest looking into that first just in case. Not sure what their exercise tolerance is like.

Never had one myself but a friend used to have one, she was a lovely natured little thing!

re the cats, maybe a good idea to test them with a dog first if your not sure, my cat is soooo laid back but witha dog in sight he turns into mental cat!! laugh
