As stated, the cat seems in the beginning of labour but am now concerned about what appears to be a sack that has come partially out but seems stuck atm. Now wondering if action is needed if things don`t progress normally soon.

Should it have burst on the way out to get the little fellas moving..god forbid, burst it perhaps if it drags on for hours?

Was thinking are they all in one sack or individual sacks...

Any advice/experience welcome...

Dont cut it while its still inside/ partially inside the cat. only open it yourself if once birthed the mother ignores the sack, they will all be individually wrapped ( like snack bars haha )

this is a useful like

Hopefully they've all come now but if not, we had next door's cat give birth in our house about three weeks ago. They'll look like there about to have a poo (standing wise), it should pop out soon enough but make sure the placenta is out aswell with each kitten and the cat chews the cord and releases the bag, if not as this did, then try to pinch the sack to free it, we had to cut the cords on a few of them. One was having trouble coming out, and we had to gently massage her area to ease it the correct position - this one was born with it's cord round it's neck though and although we quickly unwrapped it, towelled it and got it breathing again sadly it died the nextday.

Just be vigilant during the births that she is coping and not ignoring them once each one is out. Towel them to warm them up and to clean them if mum is not and ensure they are meowing nicely.

You'll be fine.

One unfortunate little black one appears to have a club foot & reversed lower back limb..
Daisy, the other cat from the previous litter is however an excellent auntie & is proving a natural at rounding up the little scamps..
