What presents have you been brought.

My dog has just come trotting back with a deers leg for me.
As there were no sounds of a struggle and she wasn't gone that long I assume she didn't just kill it. (makes me wonder what did though, it was only very young judging by the size)
Anyway, what lovely little gifts have your "best friends" brought home?

My old cat came back with an uncooked leg of pork one Sunday morning. Guess someone was missing Sunday Dinner that day.
Other than that, she would often collect bread left out for the birds (by neighbours) and leave it in a pile on the door step, the odd rabbit, mice and usual critters.

My current trio are Rescued Ex-breeder cats so they have only just learnt how to play with the cat toys they have, they have yet to work out how to catch and kill thankfully.
My last lot would almost daily bring in live mice at about 2am and play with them under my bed leaving a headless carcass by the front door by morning.

Tennis balls, loads of 'em, probably about 15 or so lying on the back lawn currently. He can sniff them out, then he'll vanish into undergrowth for a few minutes and come back with a tennis ball in his jaws, which becomes his favourite for a few day - you can mix it up amongst the others and he'll pick out the newest found!
My old cat used to bring back live frogs, strangely he thought the bathroom was the best place for them! He also brought a live rat into the house, thought the bedroom was a good place for that one bless him. I'd never heard a cat growl before, never heard another growl like it in the 20 years since!
We have two cats, one is a big black fluffy thing that has never caught a thing in his life and the other is a tiny stunted little thing that was a feral kitten when we rescued her.
The tiny one dragged a fully grown seagull into the house through the porch window (about five foot in the air) and deposited it in the kitchen.
Man was she proud of herself!
This morning there was a dead mouse on the landing carpet.
Yesterday there was a vole and a mouse.
The day before there wa.....
I'm sure you get the idea.

All seven of ours bring back presents on a regular basis, mainly voles, mice, small birds etc but Jake, who is our re-homed stray quite often brings pigeons home. He's not very big so they are almost as big as he is. He brings them into the bedroom in the middle of the night which means he climbs the tree and jumps from the tree to the roof and then into the bedroom, all while holding the pigeon in his mouth. He managed to drag one in still alive and then let it free in the bedroom. Another one he brought in he started to pluck all its feathers out. Kenzie and Kai brought a few frogs in but they usually lived, apart from one which they ate all it's legs but left the body. They then puked up the legs again.
