The deadlier the more impressive, here or abroad.

Ive had a few bee stings, rat, hamster and gerbil bites (a few down to the bone, which smarted) and have been slobbered on by worms (which may have been trying to kill me, cant say for sure). I was nearly bitten a number of times by various venomous snakes, but only whilst dreaming. Ive been feasted upon by both bed bugs and fleas (thankfully only one session with each) horse flies, forest ants and mosquitoes. Ive been chased by geese - cant stand those flappy footed big billed long necked twunts, and a goat when I was 4, which I remember disliking immensely.

Like most folk, Ive been snapped at by dogs countless times, but not bitten in anger, dogs don't bother me unless they are stting on my lawn or trying to make a sexy time with either of my legs.
That is all.

Anyone been swiped at or bitten by a British adder, or anything remotely more exotic?

I got bitten by the lesser spotted SWT once, does that count?? Had a wallaby and an emu give me a very stern look a while back, in a wildlife back where they roam free, and been sheperded off some land by a stag years ago. He didnt attack, but made us leave the area, by making us head to a certain corner of the moor, as he cut off the rest from us. And they say animals are dumb

Many wasps. If you have to deal with a wasps nest, a shovel is not the right tool.

Midges. Millions of midges. Ticks every so often, an ant (that hurt), mosquitoes, my old boss's dog, and stung by wasps once or twice. Nothing unusual.

I was attacked by a duck once.

mildly amusing anecdote that my wife still goes on about.
We were staying at a lodge in teh amazon once lazing in some hammocks. She suddenly started getting all womany because she had a larger than normal ant on her. She started shouting "Help, get it off get it off before it bites me". I scornfully replied from my reclined position "Im not getting up. Its a fking ant FFS, stop being such a baby- it can't hurt you".
Said ant only proceeded to sink it jaws into her stomach enough to draw blood to screams and curses. Shes never realy forgiven me for that one

Bitten by a hamster. Stung by wasps and bees. Bitten by red ants.

Bitten by a Cairn Terrier , Yorkshire Terrier, Jack Russel (twice)

Attacked by Alsatian, cuts to left arm, killed it with a hammer. (Very scary this one)

Also had a rat in me sleeping bag once....in some ways even scarier than the Alsatian.

Mosquito in Kenya - got back to good ol Blighty and (after I collpased) local hospital could not work out what was wrong with me - did tests for lassa fever, cholera, typhoid etc and then sent me on my way (even got a junior doctor to attempt a lumber puncture on me) - collapsed again and they then stated it could be malaria ffs. (This was the Luton and Dunstable hospital - the L & D or as we call it the Lethal & Deadly) - nearly killed me the bds.

Edited to add was a really good holiday!

I surfaced into a pretty nasty jellyfish while in the Maldives. Fortunately, I had done the ascent correctly and it got my hand - the guys in the dhoni (boat) dragged me out of the water by the valve on my tank and all I could focus on was the veins in my arm slowly going black moving up my arm.

The scars showed underwater for about five years after.
