Any Degu owners here?

yes ideally they should live in pairs, when I got mine she was alone and when put with others was bullied and hurt, this is why when i buy pets I never leave one from the litter! if there were 3 id take all 3, never just 2 I was advised to keep her alone and just give her lots of attention. If i was to get some more id get two or three at the same time ideally...

Never had them but nearly did. When my two Gerbils went (RIP) I seriously conisdered upgrading to the larger model and getting a pair of degu's as my gerbil cage was MASSIVE and could have comfortable fit them in. In the end I decided not too simply because I wanted something more affectionate. I have a cat now, and little rodents don't really mix with cats!
