My two have just wolfed down some of these delicious dogggy biscuit treats. They are so lovely I thought I'd share, packaging is lovely too - great for a pressie.

you never had one, you don't know what you're missing. While not as subtle as a digistive, the bonio bikkie has a certain rustic quality...

(prefer digestives, if the truth be told - dark choccy ones, with a cup of tea!)

You'd be surprised. I used to work on Bonio and a number of other Purina brands, (I created the Bonio Big Bone Christmas card - wooo ).... npd involved lots of smelling, crumbling, sticking your fingers in and yes, sometimes even tasting. Although I never did taste anything other than a few of the biscuit products - some people did!

These new biccies are very differen to Bonio though, they are hand made (literally in a home kitchen) organic snack treats - and I highly recommend them - just nibbled the peanut butter flavour and it's pretty good.

I think so too, I've just ordered a couple of bags for my neighbour who gets her new pup in 2 weeks.

I wouldn't go that far - but - the manufacturers will usually say they are fit for human consumption - especially at trade shows.
So next time try one - my theory - don't give your dog anything you are not happy with yourself. The only exclusion is pigs ears - they seem happy - I'm not trying them.

Same with whisky - spent grain gets made into cattle feed - sometimes displayed on tours - you just have to try the by-products !

I don't recall ever using the phrase "fit for human consumption" in any of the brands I worked on. Maybe we missed a trick, like 'everydog' on The Apprentice, we could have introduced 'everycatdogandchild' the complete food for your entire family.
