I have a barking mad blue Dutch doe, she is driving me crazy, she is chewing holes all over the hutch, but stopping when she gets to the heavy duty roofing felt that waterproofs the hutch. I've patched the holes time and time again but she chews through the patches as well. apart from this very annoying habit, she is a lovely rabbit and very affectionate. I was thinking of ripping all the patches off, re-cladding the whole of the interior with decent heavy duty 12mm plyboard and tiling the entire floor and sides with stone tiles. It'll stop her chewing the hutch to pieces and have the added advantage of making the hutch waterproof. It's not like she doesn't have anything else to chew as the hutch is full of rabbit chew pieces. Any other suggestions?

Depends on the type of wood you have, applewood is meant to be irresistible for bunnies, much better than pet shop wooden chews. But if you have it already then I gues she jsut likes the texture of the wood the hutch is made of!

make sure the floor has a really thick covering of shavings in the winter, tiles will be chilly to lay on.

That's one thing I don't skimp on. The hutch usually has 6" of shavings on the floor and 3-4" of meadow hay in the night compartment. They're better looked after than me!!!

you just have a chewy bunny unfortunately!!

PLENTY of nice hay to keep them munching that rather than your hutch!

Just as well I love her and Bart pig would be lost without her since his sister died.

You've got a chewer. Ours like the sofa but will leave most other stuff.

Actually that's a lie. They eat everything.

There is no reasoning or arguing with bunnies, you just need to out bunny them.

Have you tried giving it cardboard boxes (plain cardboard with tape, sticky labels removed)? Our rabbits love chewing through those. Apple branches are good too but they seem to remove the bark and leave it at that.
