Why do they do it, why...?

We run over them and crush them, but that's their stupid, dumb fault...

It's no excuse to behave like a dirty, filthy pigging Stuka, you sodding feathered shytebombs..

How the bloody hell did it manage a direct hit inside, all over my cream leather, inside the door frame, outside the door frame, across the windscreen and all over the bloody bonnet...?

Is this some kind of competition, or what...?

If it is, you won this morning, you demented bloody lump of fox fodder...

Why do they target me..?

Last time was a perfect hit on the apple I was about munch...

Time before was right on top of my head...

Time before was through the sun roof, but we were moving and it copped my young daughter in the back seat...

I concede that was kind of funny...

But, today, I am not amused...

Not amused at all...irked

Apparently, it's lucky......

Only had a gull st inside the car once before. But that's because the weather on the west coast of Scotland means that only an eejit would leave the hood down for any length of time, so the car is rarely parked with an open gull target.

If it's any consolation, at the weekend I was in Green Park having a picnic (ok - wine and crisps). Lots of commotion and we see a seagull carrying off some kind of black thing - it drops it onto a crown of people having a picnic. Much screaming later we work out that the 'black thing' was a very wounded pigeon! The people moved away rather quickly and a few minutes later the gull had returned and was tucking into its feathery snack!

I've got a theory about that. I reckon every time someone in a crowd gets shat on, everyone around him who was missed goes "Christ, that was lucky", and thus the myth was born.

One of them managed to poop inside my door handle (the bit that is exposed as the handle is being pulled open). Have no idea how it managed to do that.

Maybe you need one of these on your car op:

You do seem to attract more than your fair share from the sounds of that. Do you look like this at all?

Useless good for nothing flying rats - the only birds that deserve to breathe are those that end up on a plate on Christmas Day.

Why's this been moved to the animal forum...?

It's about the hazards of driving and walking about...
