seen a few of these little hairy things, talking a 4 mm big, hairy and they are sort of reddish and have sort of stripes over them.

where are they????

if in the house and you have natural carpets i would say they are wooly bears AKA carpet beetle!!

Yep, woolly bear - I thought they ate clothes though.

found it in the bathroom of all places, perhaps it fell off one of the kids cloths when i brushing there teeth tonight, mind you they had all been jumping around the trampoline before they came in. better google that, got the missus going ape now thinking hr clothes are being ate to shreds.

they will eat any natural fibres but usually ive found them on carpets.

saw one of these on the dog walk last week, just meandering across the path, a big beastie it was, quite cute tho, I'm in a rural bit of Wiltshire
