really cannot understand folk that dress the dog up in clothes, silly coats and stuff them inside designer bags-for crying out loud the mutts got legs let it walk and if you want to dress things up have a child dont humiliate the poor dog

I know - what kind of nutter does that to a poor hound but the pictures are brilliant. Poor Shrek Dog just looks ashamed!

PMSL - just hopped into a show on Sky 1 called Different Breed. In 5 mins, some nutter is eating dog treats to see which ones her dog will like, dressed the poor thing up as a Hippo in a to-to (I could not possibly make this up!) and generally tortured the poor hound.

Is funny though!

I can't remember whether it was an article I read or a programme on television, but I remember hearing about the Marks and Spencers dog food taster; a man whose job it was to taste the dog food during development and assess the flavour. It was explained that he spat the food out rather than swallowing it- as if that makes it any better!

Some truly mad people out there. I know a vet who eats, out of choice, occasional dog food! My mother is an occasional colomnist for one of the Sunday papers and wrote an article about a pet airline in the States. They have an entire plane fully kitted out as a flying kennels / catery. They do great business and IIRC it actually costs more to send your hound from one side of the US to the other than to send yourself first class.

I love and have owned dogs but I just dont get people who feel the need to dress them up as a cheerleader, get them a manicure and then fly them first class!

Nutters! Funny though!
