Went back to the Shelter yesterday and have reserved a 10 year old female tabby whose owner had passed away. Hoping lightning will strike twice but she was very friendly, coming straight over for some attention as soon as the cage door was opened instead of trying to run round and check every corner of the room.
They did also have a lovely cat there with the quite brilliant name of Steve. Sadly he had a heart condition and I'm not experienced or confident enough to take something like that on

What extra care did Steve need?

This week I have mostly had sore feet. Which is weird because last weekend is the first in a long time I haven't been out dancing in stupidly high heels. This morning Lebowski bit the bottom of my foot at 5.30am in order to wake me up. This, I conclude, is why I have sore feet!
My little

If he's had it a while, he'll be used to taking them & probably not a problem
A friends diabetic cat waits patiently for her injection before consuming food
Did they not offer help with bills? Quite often they do to get the cat into a home
To be honest I didn't ask any further, kindof wish I did now. Anyway, just got my new kitty home. Very friendly and loved having her head rubbed, has just settled down on the bed for a snooze.A friends diabetic cat waits patiently for her injection before consuming food

Thanks, I thought she was a tabby at the shelter but on the documents it says she's a tortie. Didn't notice that one side of her face is darker until I took that photo
Oh, she's definitely Tortie, you'll have your hands full!!!
