Old girl taken to vet today after collapsing whilst out with dog walker. Initial symptoms suggested a stroke but vets now seem confident it is a vestibular infection affecting balance and coordination.

Fingers crossed - she is 13 and the last of her litter left alive.

Good luck

Hoping for a good outcome
+1. Sending positive thoughts. Rosie had a couple of vestibular episodes and recovered well. They are scary, though.

Yesterday I bought Neville. a seagull. To the amusement of half of Great Yarmouth he carried it and refused to be parted from it. It was very funny watching him trot along with his prize whilst people pointed and laughed at him.

Thank you for asking - she seems to be OK but still dizzy and wobbly on her feet. Keeping a close eye on her and will take her back to vets tomorrow if no improvement

Our 1 year old Old English Sheepdog, Cooper. We’ve had bad news recently though and found out he has heart failure so doesn’t have too long to live. We were hoping he’d get to meet his little brother or sister but he probably won’t. Gutted is an understatement.

Cooper looks utterly majestic, and what utterly stty news. Life is so cruel at times.

I know - it's horrible as he's one of the most loving, friendliest dogs I've ever come across. Everyone loves him.

He started not wanting to go for a walk and couldn't sleep as he wasn't able to lie down comfortably. We took him to the vet and after numerous tests, an operation to drain nearly 2 litres of fluid from around his heart and lots of medication, we've found out he has Tricuspid Valve Disorder and Pericardial Effusion. The cardiologist said it was one of the worst cases he'd seen, and we can expect to have anywhere between a few months to maybe a year with him if we're lucky.

Having just found out we're expecting a baby too, it's been a rollercoaster of a month. Oh, and our insurers have turned down our claim for the vet bills as well, but that's another story!

Such cruel news for a super looking dog. Loving the name though.
