Scooby at 6 doesn't seem to slow down
Here he is with his most favourite thing, never to be distracted

until you say the d-i-n-n-e-r word
I like Scooby's dark mahogany colouring. And his correct jaw - Max is undershot.

There is no way on this earth that Max would bother to chase a frisbee. No sir.

How did it go? love
She came through it just fine but of course it wouldn't be this madhouse if it weren't for some drama. The vet called preceicely 39 minutes after we dropped her off to let us know that it's likely she had had and is at the tail end of a phantom pregnancy and some fluid was showing. Not enough to abort though and we went ahead.

She's been resting for a couple of days and is back to her usual ballistic self. Ever tried to stop a frenchie in mid air as they try to jump onto a couch?? I have and it's not possible. How she hasn't burst her stitches i don't know so she is now in her crate "jaIl"

Thanks for reaching out, she's had some history (spinal surgery, failed attempt at a previous spay where she stopped breathing on the table). DOn't believe the hype about really expensive dogs that are "pure breeds" being anything but the same hassle as cheap cross breeds.
Oh phew, I'm so relieved. Obviously she didn't want it to be plain-sailing for you, got to keep you on your toes! tongue out Yes, it's a nightmare trying to stop them being lively, and leaping around like they're used to, isn't it? I'm lucky that most of mine had been neutered or spayed at rescues before I adopted them but we have had one we've had to nurse through spaying, and another to come (more of that later).

I'd prefer Scoobs to have the brighter tan markings, it just adds more expression to them, but he is Scoobs.
As regards frisbee.......he would jump off a cliff for it, and despite my previous post, I think he might leave his food for it, I'd love to get some video of his catching antics but I doubt I'll be able to do it.
I'll wager that he has bigger orangutan flaps than any other dog, so big and thick, as tha actress said to the vicar!

Neville is looking sharp!

Sully has spent his evening walk playing with Juno; ideally stealing her ball from her gob.

Cookie, I'm sorry to say, is starting to lose her marbles properly.
We've put her back on vivitonin which helped previously but this time she doesn't seem to be getting much benefit from it.
Most of the time she's sort of okay, just a bit foggy but today she has been very clingy.
Tonight she insists on sleeping with me. Apparently she likes my yellow bathrobe.
She's just getting old, my poor girl.

There's a cafe above the Marina office in Brundall that I like to kayak to. Partly due to their waffles but mainly because I can meet doggies there smile

Went to visit friends yesterday and this little hussy comes and sits with me

Jack Russell cross dachshund,

Belongs my Goddaughter, she's lucky I didn't bring her home with me, friendliest dog ever.

This dopey dollop is Barney, who’s my BiL’s labradoodle. He’s staying with us for a couple of days while they’re away. It’ll be interesting at Christmas because they’re away for the holidays so we’ve got him for a fortnight (him and Arch got on famously) and he hasn’t met Stanley yet biggrin

frown Sorry to hear that, poor little Cookie.

One of our old dogs, Joe, had good results with Aktivait. I bought some for Rosie before she got ill, so we still have quite a lot of tablets left. I'd be happy to send them to you if you wanted to give them a try.

Barney looks awesome!

Is he more lab or doodle, or a specific mix. as he looks quite different to "normal" labradoodles?

Not sure to be honest. In fact, I’m not sure they’re particularly sure what mix he is! Anyway, you’re right he is awesome and never happier than when he’s being cuddled! It’s such a hard life being a dog sometimes!

Moorx, that's a very generous offer, thank you so much.
I hadn't heard of it so I looked it up, but your positive experience is good to know about.
I'm out and about right now, but when I get back into the WiFi I'll pm you if I may. Can't see properly what I'm doing on the phone screenfrown

Agreed, he is very handsome. Bit of a look of an Otterhound or Italian Spinone about him. How lovely to be dog-sitting such a cuddly boy!
