I was definitely in two minds about this, especially as it was a breed I said I didn’t want, but as is the norm my wife completely ignored me and has gone and got this little chap. He’s a cockerpoo and, unbeknown to us until today, he was born on the day we lost Archie - May 13th (and yes, I blubbed when I found out). We’re off to France for a family holiday in about five or six weeks’ time and we collect him when we come back home.

So, everyone, please say hello to the newest edition to our family and meet Stanley biggrin

If we’re doing cockerpoos, two new recruits to add to the team… meet Ozzy & Alfie
Ozzy and Alfie look a proper pair of urchins! Guessing they're brothers?

Applecross beach from further away. Lovely place, great fish and chips at Applecross itself.

That's the island of Raasay across the water, and Skye is behind

The two dogs are in the car, they had their beach run at Arisaig the day before .
My wife was on dogging duty at the beach whistle while I took the photos

Not going that far, sadly. Heading back home to Co. Durham tomorrow via a night at Invermill at Dunkeld.

Back at the vets today and was sitting next to a couple with a lovely Great Dane. Got chatting to them and it’s reactive but it wasn’t feeling well so it was happy just to sit there….in fact it insisted on sitting on the seat between them! It weighed in at 78kg so nobody was going to argue with it!
