Hope that's your finger at the bottom of the pic rather than you just being excited about seeing a paraglider...laugh
I had to choose between an out of focus one and one with a finger in... or plenty of her rolling around like a moron but they didn't have the gliders in!

She nearly pinched a donut out of someone's hand that day! Cheeky little sod.

Nice finger work on the neck. What chord is it producing?
Not sure, those are Mrs Guitar's hands. smile
From your dog's expression, I suspect she's a harpist and that's a gentle arpeggio.

I was definitely in two minds about this, especially as it was a breed I said I didn’t want, but as is the norm my wife completely ignored me and has gone and got this little chap. He’s a cockerpoo and, unbeknown to us until today, he was born on the day we lost Archie - May 13th (and yes, I blubbed when I found out). We’re off to France for a family holiday in about five or six weeks’ time and we collect him when we come back home.

So, everyone, please say hello to the newest edition to our family and meet Stanley biggrin

Good work. We sat and watched a few of them last time we were up there. My late cousin was in to this, unfortunately it would be his demise but he lived a very adventurous and happy life.

Seths bandana looks very smart!
Thanks. It’s from Pets at Home with all profits to The Terence Higgins Trust. He’s very proud of it and shall wear it all month. At a jaunty angle.

They do a bow tie too but I didn’t think his Totem / Indian stance would pull it off.

His breeder messaged me the other day to say his sister Piglet (who went to live with her daughter) does this too.

Cookie got me up at a quarter to six this morning when she heard distant thunder.
It frightens her.
Mind you, with those ears she can probably hear thunder in the Caribbean.
The weather cleared up around seven and she hasn't had a care in the world since.

That looks definitely says "wot?"

I went to meet a new friend today. My friends Don and Katherine have a new addition to the household.
Meet Loki.
Black Labrador, fairly obviously.
I know his breeder well and he comes from a long line of distinguished forebears. Mum is a champion gundog.
Here he is having a brief break from gently nibbling my fingers.

He has to wait until after his final lot of innoculations to meet Cookie who, being a terrier bh will doubtless contribute to his understanding of his place in the world.

Just back from the vets where Freddie got his stitches out. Unfortunately the wound is slightly infected and was weeping, and hasn’t knitted together, so they have packed it with Manuka honey and wrapped it back up, and we are going back on Wednesday to see how things are. Trying to get a Vizsla to take it easy is almost impossible!

My appointment ran late last week so I chatted to a lovely woman for half an hour whilst her dog was getting some tests run on its liver function. When I came out tonight she was back again in the reception area and she came over to ask how Freddie was. I asked how her dog was getting on, and she said they were just about to have him put to sleep! She burst into tears, and all I could think of was to give her a hug. It certainly put my day into perspective.

Well done for giving that lady a hug.

I would probably have done the same.

I used to veer away from public shows of emotion, but as I have aged I am now happy to do so

Hope Freddie’s recovery is swift
