Gigi is in season so not been herself this week, sleeping a lot and more needy than normal.

Cookie got me up at a quarter to six this morning when she heard distant thunder.
It frightens her.
Mind you, with those ears she can probably hear thunder in the Caribbean.
The weather cleared up around seven and she hasn't had a care in the world since.

Every time we change the bed, we say the dogs aren't getting on the bed....

Sleeps like an angel—it's such a heartwarming sight. It brings back memories and makes me nostalgic, especially since I lost my doggy last year. I often wish I could have spent more time with that furry companion. If I had discovered OxEssays https://oxessays.com/cheap-essay services a bit earlier, perhaps I wouldn't have needed to spend so much time buried in books.

This is the face of a Neville Longbottom who’s decided to become extremely stubborn and channel his inner Slytherin. Sadly for him I am equally as stubborn. Prior to this image we’d stood in the garden for 40 minutes waiting on his last wee. Eventually he caved, only because he wanted his malted milk biscuit before bed.

If I pee in your garden can I have a biscuit too?

Neville is a beautiful boy. cloud9

Cookie is getting cranky in her old age and takes at least fifteen minutes to pick the perfect spot. But I am a smoker so I can wait. hehe

You can have a malted milk Error. I’ll even make us a cuppa to go with it. Lord know between us we’ll be stood out there long enough biggrin
Its my fault, I’ve upset him. He’s developed a thing for sticks. He’s also at the age where his new found hormones appear to be ruling his head and any semblance of training has gone out of the window.
He runs out, finds a stick and then taunts me with it as if to say ‘take it, I dare you’ and no amount of ‘leave it’ makes a difference. Whilst he’s having this marvellous time any thoughts of doing what he’s supposed to be doing are long gone, so this evening, after another ten minutes of him ignoring me whilst belting around the lawn, I strung a temporary fence right across the garden.

He was not impressed. Closely studied every inch to see if there was a way though and this is partly what caused the delay in having a wee.
It is temporary. He’s nearly 8 months now and they do regress a bit at this point so we need to work on training again and when he’s had some refreshers then he can have full run of the garden. Until then his fun is curtailed.

Problem is I border a wooded area so sticks fall on the grass, he’s already got one stuck sideways in his mouth so I really do need him to listen.

We went hunting secret waterfalls last weekend and climbed Mam Tor again. No Parascenders at sunset, I think it was too windy!
