When I find out where she lives, I'm kidnapping this princess.

Love looking at the photo's in here, don't know why I haven't uploaded pictures of our big dufus. He is four now, got him just over a year ago from rescue.

Here is Buddy:

Wife couldn't find him this morning, panicked a bit and then realised he was probably outside in the sun. Sure enough, he was:

Buddy looks ace.

Friday lunchtime usually means wifey brings something stinky and chewy back from the market, today dried cow ears

There is no better breed than "Rescue Doofus of Indeterminate Parentage".

Thanks Mezzanine and Civic,

He really has given us a lot of joy since coming home (albeit a tough couple of weeks to get him settled). He was in rescue for 2 years, apparently too excitable and full of energy for anyone, but actually suited us as we love a long walk. The rescue didn't know what breed he was, just a mix but we've since done some digging and it turns out he is a Schillerstovare.

That's a new one on me!

He looks a delightful chap, may you have many happy years together.

Still bloody growing! Everyone local know Puck now and always comment how tall/long in the leg she is! pretty much taller than all the local labs! and people that don't know us always comment how big she is for a Puppy as she still looks young in the face!

Back from the vets….no more than 10 minutes exercise is going to be tough once he recovers from the sedation!

Five minutes later…

I could do with some of whatever he had! Foster pup is resting after a long appt at the eye clinic. We have three weeks to save the eye with a hugely intense course of tablets and drops every 30 minutes to try and get some response from it. The other eye is not great with vision either, apparently like looking through a net curtain. Poor lass is so accepting and just calm about the whole thing.

I also accidentally dyed some of her fur blue when I was cleaning out the baking cupboard and spilled some food dye lol

Seth loves a sunset. Shame the meadow grass is a little taller than he is.

That’s going to be tough for a Vizsla. He’s lovely by the way.

Our little Lunar(tic) is growing fast….she was sulking Sunday after a bath.

She found the biggest, freshest fox turd possible and rolled in it Sunday morning. Which was nice.
Fox turds you say ? That was my old boy Red's party piece, he could find one anywhere. Three years since he passed and i miss him every day. The happiest dog i have ever known. Think i only heard him bark about 5 times in his whole life and i never heard him growl, even with a kitten hanging off his ears. Here he is after full on turd/muddy puddle roll mode.

Damn, after all she has been through that is a shame. can't believe the change in such a short time, she is looking great. Eye problems are a big worry. My old boy in the post above went through the best part of two years of eye operations to abrade some layers to get down to a layer that wouldn't break up. The vet did a tremendous job and managed to save them both but it was a worrying time and a lot of damage in the house with a staffie with a big collar on for that length of time. Don't think there was an ornament left on my wife's small tables and in the hall. I never told her but it got rid of some tat i didn't like so not all bad smile

Thank goodness for soft collars now! The cat is more adept at knocking crap off places than doggy. But it’s going to be a long three weeks, I’ve had tail removals and all sorts to deal with but this is my first one with eye stuff. As she’s still skinny I can at least compensate her with sausages.

wc98… now that’s a handsome boy !
