My shower needs replacing, currently have a square design door and side panel but looking to replace with an extended quadrant type (900x760) with a sliding door. Anyone had any experience of these and recommend a good make? The alternative is to stay with a 760x760 size with a bi-fold door and side panel.

I've fitted some of Twyfords Hydr8 enclosures lately, very well made and well designed for fitting, look at the bow quadrants aswell

We're quite happy with our Roman 900mm, we've had it 7 years:

I dont like sliding doors as the wheels / rails get yukky. I prefer a pivot door.

Go to a bicycle shop and buy a tube of grease, descale the tracks and wheels then put a thin layer of grease in. Repeat every couple of years.

There are soooo many shower manufacturers but the plumber has recommended April Showers or Merlyn. The problem is you can't tell the quality from the internet or brochure and most of the shops I've seen only carry a small range and they will obviously tell you its the best.

I just picked up a Hydrolux 900mm quadrant from PlumbWorld via their ebay store. It hasn't been delivered yet but I will report back on the quality.

£152 including delivery.
