Preserving the colour of a quality cedar deck
Discussion
Three years ago I paid a lot of money for a deck using quality cedar wood. I knew the colour would change over time but owing partly to the orientation (NW) the deck does develop a very mild green covering.
This can be scrubbed off without too much effort but each time it removes a layer of cedar. The results of the scrubbing are great but I'd really like to find some way of preserving the natural colour but keep the 'green' away and not have to deck scrub every year.
Can anyone suggest a natural colour preservative; I really don't want a cedar stain.

I used this in a previous property on a cedar deck with good results. No stain in the oil so just brings out the natural tones in the wood.
