Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a good landscape designer and contractor in the Bristol area? We have a small garden and a few ideas of what we would like and I like to go on personal recommendation rather than plucking a name out of the yellow pages so has anyone got any suggestions?

Cheers in advance
Rich

I've used a guy slightly further East (towards Swindon). Not sure where abouts in Bristol you are - he might cover the Eastern side, but I suspect the City Centre or South/West might be a bridge too far.

I can email his details if you think it might be helpful?

Cheers Timm, however we're SW of Bristol so he probably won't come out that far, especially as a couple of guys from Clifton have said Portishead is too far!

I'm in the same boat as the OP, but located much closer to you, so those details would be handy if possible?

The guy we used was:

Huw Lloyd Jones ( http://www.huwlloydjoneslandscaping.co.uk) - when we moved into the area we did a google search for a few to come and quote, Huw was reasonably priced and did a great job - we had the drive redone and they put in a 3 foot high retaining wall all round it with new oak sleepers and some steps. I've got them coming back soon to do some more work so I guess thats a pretty good reputation.
