Hi, been removing a Worcester 19/15 oil fueled combi and trying to work out the pipe connections.
Got the cold feed in, the other cold, braided pressure bleeder thing) the hot water out, the central heating in and out.The oil supply. But there is a half inch pipe (that comes out of the wall!) that I am unsure of. Could it be a hot water return or a vent to somewhere? No cold tank to vent to. It connects to the boiler near the cold feed in on the top.
Cheers

Sounds like the safety relief pipe. Attached to the safety valve and open to the outside world.

Thanks Ferg. Could be something like that, it isn't connected to the mains supply as that is turned on again. Like a number of other pipes, it disappears into the wall and the only way to find where it goes is to trace it by digging it out of the concrete ......so i guess I can just cut it off and forget it, maybe cap it off anyway just in case.....

It will emerge somewhere outside.
