Hi, I need to make a quick and cheap exhaust for the petrol generator to stop the fumes collecting in the garage I use, does anyone have any idea what would be a good/cheap material to use? I figured hosing and plastics may melt.

http://www.pfjones.co.uk/eberspacher-heaters-ebers... depends on the size of the exhaust outlet, a piece of this stuff could be the answer, drill a hole through the wall and take it outside,or google flexible exhaust pipe.

Obviously £25 a metre may be more than you want to spend.

What size is the exhaust, and how do you plan to connect to it? What about some steel pipe, you may be able to find a plumber with some in his scrap pile.
