Normally to move a rose you would wait until it is dormant and then trim it right down leaving about 8"
I wouldn't move one now as you are going to use up all it's energy establishing in the pot for a few weeks and then back in the soil.
What are the other plants?
Some flowery things that I have to cut back at the end of each summer and a small rosemary bush. I wouldn't move one now as you are going to use up all it's energy establishing in the pot for a few weeks and then back in the soil.
What are the other plants?
I'll leave the rose where it is until I can move it to where it needs to be longer term
