Not knowing much about sofas, does this look any good?

It's always worth having a look on ebay for nearly new stuff, you might be surprised at some of the bargains.

yes

LOADS of good stuff. Stuff that's probably only a year old can be had for about a third of its original cost. Even after hiring a van to go and collect you're still on to a winner.

depends. I'm sure they have a clause in that which covers 'wear and tear'. Generally you get what you pay for with furniture.

Personally I'd prefer higher armrests but looks smart. Check the framework of a settee, how solid does it look. If leather, look up type of leather, I can'y remember details but there are different standards re: quality, a good assistant should be able to tell you if they know anything about the product.

I'm not into all this DFS bashing. We have 4 of their sofas and whilst they are not as well built, stylish or durable they are about 30% of the price....
