Quick question if you are... A gas pipe in a property of mine is not 22mm thick, it's a bit smaller. It was installed years ago and goes from the meter to the boiler. Is this an automatic fail on a landlords gas safety cert?

Any help appreciated....

A lgs cert is only a report on the condition of the gas appliances and pipe work at the time of inspection, there is no pass/fail.However if an appliance or pipework fall into the at risk/immediately dangerous category the appropriate action should of been taken, ie: warning notices issued and appliance capped off.

So your gas pipe depending on length number of bends and the amount of gas required, may or may not be adequate.
