Mayfair Studio
Discussion
Look at the price for this studio apartment in Mayfair. £695000 for that! Look at the floorplan, it is minute.
Why would someone pay for that, surely the location can't be worth that much to someone?

£!500 a sq ft for Mayfair is not ridiculous....if it was a big flat or a house it would go for much more than that per sq ft. £2000 a sq ft is quite "normal for a good spec decent property". In the boom places were going for £4000 sq ft in parts if London. I live in Zone 2 and £1000 sq ft is what good places go for.
I wouldn't pay it but there are plenty of people that will. Central London property looks cheap to foreigners because of the weak pound.

Suddenly, it becomes clear. The OPer lives oop norf. Could buy 600,000 flats for that one flat.
Ha ha, you're right.
I'm not so in shock of the £ per sq m. It's more why anyone would want to live there in such small space for that price, where they could live a mile away and get a huge amount more space.
