Estimate the cost to build this garage?

I'm considering a garage. Originally i was looking at a pre-fab to go round the back for approx £2000, but it would eat up too much of the rear garden. I've found these plans on the web of one of our neighbours, this is identical to what i'm now thinking of, maybe a foot wider, and possibly a bit shorter (level with the back of the house).

I'm looking for guestimates before i go and get proper quotes. I have no idea how much materials will cost. My dad has mates who can do the labour.

Go on then.. whaddya reckon it will cost? It's only really one wall and a couple of pillars

What are the dimension of the garage?

Lets say 20' x 8.5'

With a door at the rear, which i'll probably be able to get for free.

Hard to say if you different people doing different bits, free door....

A small builder to do it all with materials £10K to £13K as a ruff guess.

Seems like a hell of a lot for a basic garage. I've just found some pre-fab lean to garages for a couple of K which i may have to look at.
