So this is why I can't ever garage a car
Discussion
I Bought my car without my parents knowing. Our signle garage was full of crap. When i say full, i mean jam packed, you couldnt go in there and be sure you would come out with your life and/or all limbs still attached.. While my parents were on holiday i took it upon myself to clear out the garage as otherwise the car had nowhere to go. Me and my brother had 5 trips to the local dump In his volvo estate with the back seats down. It took a good week to get it clear enough to fit the car in.
We had a garage built recently, and I put all the stuff in it that had been cluttering up the front room. It was *full*. It took 6 months to clear out enough to get a car in!
Got some pics somewhere...
A lot of it was empty cardboard boxes and rubbish and old car magazines. Just be brave, get some shelving units (Machine Mart have some decent cheap metal ones) and get a car in there!

We had a triple garage built last year and pretty much from the day it was built its been full of crap. Needs clearing out for when I get my first car though
It's really cathartic and well worth doing!
I got my long suffering wife out of the house to watch me driving the car into the garage for the first time!

Although it should be said I also wanted her to tell me how much room I had before hitting stuff!

I put my RS2000 in the garage when we moved in 9 years ago and apart from a weekend out while me and a friend redid the flat roof it's been stuck in there since. Every now and then I clear out the crap that has accumilated around it in readyness for doing some work on it (even made a start remving the nose cone last summer), but I keep getting sidetracked with other things. Hopefully this summer I'll have finished the other DIY projects and I'll try another clear out so I can get on with it. I could do with a second garage to keep the other crap in really...
