Pics taken of my garage today. Absolutely rammed to the rafters with crap. And I'd had a bit of a tidy up!

Am I the only one who has so much crap in my garage?

I Bought my car without my parents knowing. Our signle garage was full of crap. When i say full, i mean jam packed, you couldnt go in there and be sure you would come out with your life and/or all limbs still attached.. While my parents were on holiday i took it upon myself to clear out the garage as otherwise the car had nowhere to go. Me and my brother had 5 trips to the local dump In his volvo estate with the back seats down. It took a good week to get it clear enough to fit the car in.

Yes bikes are crap, they don't have an engine so shove them outside.

We had a garage built recently, and I put all the stuff in it that had been cluttering up the front room. It was *full*. It took 6 months to clear out enough to get a car in!

Got some pics somewhere...

A lot of it was empty cardboard boxes and rubbish and old car magazines. Just be brave, get some shelving units (Machine Mart have some decent cheap metal ones) and get a car in there!

Because I inspect houses for a living I'm in garages day in and day out, so I think I'm a fair judge. Yours is as bad as it gets!!

It's really cathartic and well worth doing!

I got my long suffering wife out of the house to watch me driving the car into the garage for the first time! laugh

Just get rid of it. If it's at the back and/or you haven't used it in a couple of years, recycle/bin it.

I had to clear mine out, since getting the Cerb it kinda needs to live inside when not being driven. It was just full of random crap, most of it went straight to the dump!

It had been like that for 18 months, maybe longer! Just a few shelves made all the difference!

Only 18 months?! ours was gathering crap since we moved into our house 14 years ago. It had never had a car in it since we moved in.

There's already 5 shelving units all the way along the back wall. Guess what? They're all full!

I put my RS2000 in the garage when we moved in 9 years ago and apart from a weekend out while me and a friend redid the flat roof it's been stuck in there since. Every now and then I clear out the crap that has accumilated around it in readyness for doing some work on it (even made a start remving the nose cone last summer), but I keep getting sidetracked with other things. Hopefully this summer I'll have finished the other DIY projects and I'll try another clear out so I can get on with it. I could do with a second garage to keep the other crap in really...

Our yearly skip arrives next weekend - we bin all the crap we collect each year. My loft, sheds, etc have only stuff in them that we want and use....cant stand clutter!
