How to dispose of old paint tins?
Discussion
Having lived in the same house for many years, I have decided to have a bit of a clear out. In my shed are loads of old paint cans left over from various decorating jobs over the years. Is it OK to just chuck them in the wheelie bin or is there some other way that they should be disposed of?
The rule here (New Jersey) is to open them up and let them dry first.
Then either include in the trash or tie a string through the handles if you have a few and leave them out on trash day next to your other trash.
Please do not mail them to me.
Not much help eh
OR when you buy some paint ask the store if they can put it in their commercial trash.
