Hi,

Been looking at sofas with the usual suspects DFS et al but part of me thinks I should spend a bit more and get something that will last a tad longer, now I cant stretch to a Natuzzi but the other stuff they have looks ok.

Any views?

We have quite a few bits of furniture from B&S - seems to be reasonable quality and pretty good service.

From the thread title, I thought someone might have dredged up an old political comedy sketch from the 1970s starring Ronnie Barker.

I think you might have to be of a certain age to understand what I'm talking about.

I have bought stuff from B&S for years, the last being a 2 and a 3 seater leather sofa a couple of years ago. Excellent knowledgeable sales staff with top quality furniture at reasonable prices especially when the sale is on.
I don't have any connection with them other than as a happy customer smile

When I bought the sofas they quoted a delivery date and they took a good few weeks over that to arrive (from Italy) and when they phoned to advise me of the date they planned on delivering, they knocked a £100 of the total price before processing the outstanding amount, without me asking!

I wouldn't go with the usual suspects that advertise on the TV

thumbup for them from me. We have bought quite a few bit from them and they are much better to deal with than the buy now pay next year stores. Our sofas from them cost a fair bit but they will probably outlast the rest of the house.

I bought a Natuzzi set off them a few years ago. They price matched the lowest quote I had for the same stuff and the staff at the Leeds store were very helpful.
The only issue I had was that when it was delivered the delivery drivers refused to take their shoes off or wear protective covers-not good when I have cream carpet throughout my house and the weather was rainy on the day they delivered.I did complain to head office and they refunded the delivery charge to be fair to them.
I would buy off them again and overall was happy.

Are you sure you can't afford a natuzzi? We negotiated a 40pct discount on two 3 sestet sofas( and they threw in couple of headrests!!
