And the best mattress is.........
Discussion
I like a firm mattress, tried a few today and narrowed it down to a 'Designmobel' 100% latex jobbie (very firm, but comfy) or a 'Sleepyhead Avignon' with pocket springs encased in 'Microcell' foam, hyper comfy but 'pillowy' with its 'lofted top' stuff.
Bit worried that the latex will get hot (they said it wouldn't but
you know...) or that the 'pillowy' one will be too plush.
Can't find an independent review site, can anyone help??????

Best mattress?
Bought a Tempur one about 18 months ago. Its the dogs danglies.
I like a firm mattress myself, so we opted for the 15cm memory foam model. Seemed a touch firmer than the more expensive 20cm+ memory foam jobby.
Tried some Tempur mattresses today, just didn't like them, laid down, created my 'dent', rolled over and kind of rolled back into the original 'dent'. Bought a Tempur one about 18 months ago. Its the dogs danglies.

Also heard they get harder or softer depending on the tempreature too???
Sales guy said they were like Guiness, you either love 'em or hate 'em.

I have tried both the sprung 'padded top' kind and also a foam one. The padded top one was lovely but started subsiding after four months despite regular turning; it is now useless because you can't move to one side unless you like sleeping on a slope. The foam one was lovely for about four hours until my hips started sagging and the discomfort woke me up - it's like sleeping on a blancmange. At least you can move to one side to find a flat bit until that sags as well. Currently have a piece of plywood and a towel underneath Bit worried that the latex will get hot (they said it wouldn't but

It's not hot in this weather but might be in summer.I think that the best kind of mattress is springs. No fancy bulls
t, just springs. Black Sport 160 said:
