I have an AEG dishwasher, has started to run full cycle, but doesn't heat up.
Have had a visit from an engineer, who says it isn't the thermostat, but doesn't know what it is.

Any ideas?

Well if the thermostat is good how about the heating element?

Model number?
if not the element then probably the control pcb, would need a product code number to see what we are talking about here. try looking on the side of the door for a label. most later versions dont have a thermostat anyhow.

Hi

Model is a Favorit 35065V1

Did seem to heat up for a short period after the engineer checked everything out, so not the element i think, but has now packed up and is running cold again.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cannot find that model number, really need the product code. will start with either 911........ or 606.......
assuming its not ancient, then my bet will be the pcb, they suffer dry joints on the heater relay, often easily fixed with a dab of the soldering iron, not that I am condoning looking at it yourself for safety reasons.
