Meneghini refrigerators and freezers epitomise everything you expect from classical Italian design – style, simplicity, beauty and exclusivity.
Italian design? Looks more like something out of a 50's kitchen. Oh, and why would one need portholes in a refrigerator?

It is indeed grim, but presumably somebody buys them.

Miele have one in their Experience Centre for £28,000. It is there because at the moment, no one in the UK knows how to install it. It will probably require a crane to put it in as the surrounds are pure granite.

Not in the same league cost wise, but the bizzarist domestic Fridge Freezer I come across is this Smeg Piano design one.

inside it is like something you see in 70's science fiction movies to preserve crew while they are spending years travelling through space.
