Any suggestions as to how to break my thick articulated metal cable lock (Mister Lock brand name) which i have wrapped around my bike...i snapped the key off in the lock...apart from standing there for 8 hours with a hacksaw....

Can you get access to electricity ? If so angle Grinder,

otherwise a good saw will go through it surprisingly easily.

Just go down the local Spar and ask one of the chavs standing outside...they'll probably be able to get the lock off in seconds biggrin

Boltcutters or angle grinder will easily do it.

If you're using a hacksaw, it will be quicker to cut through the frame biggrin

Turn the lock with needle nose pliers, or a thin screwdriver or something, shoved in along side the key stub?
