WATT Bathroom lights
Discussion
See what I did there...
Anyway just had four spotlight put into my 2m x 2m bathroom and it doesn't seem very bright. Least not in the middle. They are 35w each, is there a guide per sf? Also, can I simply put better bulbs in?
Can call sparky tomorrow but don't want to sound to much of a numpty.
Thank

Would be a bit of a cheapo if you're limited to 35w but worth checking/asking the spark, bear in mind if they're low voltage you may be limited by transformer sizing too. 50w is "standard". Are the fittings LV (lamps have little pins) or mains GU10 (Twist-on Bayonet)
Osram make some high efficiency halogen lamps, I often suggest the 50w (that give 65w equiv. light output) to customers as a cheap upgrade. They make a range, one of which should be suitable. Although if your fittings are enclosed fireproof you should only use "heat-forward"/aluminium reflector lamps.
