I need a replacement kitchen cupboard drawer, the one that hold all the saucepans etc, as it's collapsing under the weight! Problem is that it's a Howdens Kitchen and having spoken to them they won't supply me one as I'm not "trade".

I rang Wickes to see if they could sell me one but the sales chap told me all drawers are individual to the manufacturer, so I'd have to go back to Howdens...

Is this true? It seems a standard 600mm wide drawer to me - am I being messed around?

Each manufacturer will make there own cabinets and probably use different hardware so chances are a Wickes one won't fit a Howdens one.

Howdens are now very strictly trade only.

Hi

If you are in lincolnshire I can get you a drawer front as I have accounts with howdons. Give me a bell on 07725947494. If you paid up front I could arrange for you to be able to collect from any branch in the uk

Cheers

Nigel

what a load of crap! i work for Magnet Trade and we sell trade only but if some one who purchased a Magnet kitchen (from any store - not just mine) i would quite happily sell them a new one. You may have just gotten the wrong person on the counter, maybe try another store if nothing gets sorted with Nigel, depending where your from if its near Birmingham i know the Manager of a Howdens store in Birmingham and would be happy to pass on details!
