Bonded Gravel Drives
Discussion
I lived on a new build estate until last year where this was used extensively. The contractors were always back redoing it as the aggregate lost its bond with the adhesive.
A few neighbours put car and house windows through too when strimming
Regarding costs I did look into it to tidy up a sound but scruffy tarmac drive. Worked out the same as having it planed and topped off in tarmac.

Yep, it's hopeless, particularly in heavily trafficked parking areas - modern cars (heavy, with power steering) wear the gravel off the surface really quickly when doing 3-point turns into parking spaces etc. You usually and up with 'bald patches' and it looking really shabby in no time at all.Gassing Station | Homes, Gardens and DIY | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
