It's not a fany feather one or anything, I'd hand-wash it in the bath, but I don't have a bath.

Yes. Take it to a laundrette and they should have some extra large washing machines and tumble dryers. Usually they have specific instructions for duvets. Don't try shoving it in your domestic machine; you'll break it.

Either that or cut it in half, wash the pieces seperately then sew it back together.

If it would fit and some labels say yes. But from experience it was scary watching the machine walk across the floor as one wet lump refused to spread out evenly for the spin.. Think we gave our machine a hernia.

Edit. Thinking back the two of us were stood there saying "you turn it off", "no you", "no you....."
