I'm looking for about 12 m2 of plain white vinyl floor tiles for a photographic studio. I just want something that can easily be laid down, stays put (the current floor is laminate) and then removed if required and stored for another time.

Must be plain white with no pattern or texture, preferably matt finish.

Internet isn't being too helpful, and so where the internet fails, PH hopefully steps in smile

I think I've seen some in either Wickes or B&Q. Fitted some cream ones about a year ago & to be honest they didn't look too bad. Self-adhesive & not too expensive apparently. Don't bother with either website though - you'll rapidly lose the will to live!

How about white sheet vinyl? We use Reeds Carpets, they do a plain white. You would only want to roll it out when you need it as you might expect, it gets marked rather quickly!

Thanks folks - yes, I have white sheet vinyl already. The marking is not a great problem but when not in use it makes a rather scruffy 6-foot tall roll that has to prop up in one corner and makes the place look untidy. Tiles that I can simply lay on the floor when needed, then pick up and put in a cupboard when not needed, seemed to be an ideal answer.

Right, I found some vinyl tiles in B&Q but I'm sure the joins are going to be a problem. Looks like I might be better painting the floor white instead. But are there any suitable paints (bearing in mind the current floor is laminate so quite shiny) which will resist scuffs and stay stuck?
