To set the scene:

We've got a Baxi Solo 2 80PF boiler (not a combi) which has been working fine.

Yesterday morning an engineer came to fix our oven, which meant flicking the power off.

Since then, the boiler isn't running.

The electric control panel is on, but none of the lights are on on the boiler, and it won't fire.

Have checked external thermostat / tried boiler reset sequence / turned off/on, but nothing.

Any ideas as to why it isn't working? My gut feeling is that the PCB is fubar'd somehow, but deperately hoping it might be something more simple...

TIA.

Does it have an external programmer? Some of these require re-setinng if the power has been disturbed.

It does, and I've checked the settings - all correct.

Also I've turned it to "constant" for HW and CH, with the thermostat set to 30C, and it still isn't coming on...

Is the boiler making any response at all? Does the pump start running?

You get a short noise when you first turn the power on, but then nothing at all.

Have you tried all of the fuses. I switched of the mains at home a while ago and after switching back on boiler wouldn't work turned out there was a fuse on the pcb in the boiler that had blown.
