Try this first. It'll be really smelly (I did this for a mate at Uni and only just managed not to puke), but most stuff will stop here. After that, something like drainbuster or Mr Muscle sink cleaner should shift it, but you may need a couple of goes. Follow the instructions!Mind that sulphuric acid, I used it to clear a shower tray drain and when the acrid smoke finally died down the drop pipe into the wee gulley trap below the tray was mostly eaten away. This did allow me to get my fingers into the trap and outlet to pull out a massive wad of hair which, quite conspicuously, had not been disolved by the acid.
