Not sure where this end up, so before nobody sees it wink can anyone recommend something to clean my electric hob ?

I rarely use it but when I do only one of the rings, which has a sort of film on it which doesn't want to come off (just round the edges as if it's boile on water or something similar).

Don't want to use anything too abrasive to scratch it, so any suggestions ?

Can you paint correct a hob ? wink

Think it's ceramic but not certain -not much of a cook - it only got changed bcos it was easier to wipe the dust off than the old gas one wink

Does it say "Ceran" on it or similar? Top like glass? Razorblade, then Hob Brite works well

Look, he may well be upset about it but that's going over the top a bit isn't it?

I just got a professional oven-cleaning bod to do the business on a rented property and he used a razor blade. 'Slice - and the dirt is gone!'

I dunno, seems reasonable. A stained hob can be devastating.....

ANother vote for Hob Brite here - just dont go OTT and use too much. You'll be surprised how little you need.

Don't let sugar or anything very sugary burn on the hob, It appears to burn pits in it....

Only ever used for cooking an omelette or carrots and only then rarely.
