We're thinking of getting one as part of our bathroom refurbishment. Any PH'ers have them installed? I'd like to know if there are any problems installing the wall frames onto timber stud walls, and if there are any problems after a while with repeated use. Don't want the thing to fall off at the wrong moment!

Haha - there is no way I would install one those in my house (house is 10 years old and apparently made from paper). TBH, I would think you would need a decent masonary wall with extremely good fixings to support any potential fat biffers that might use it (or someone else standing on it to change a lightbulb. I personally wouldn't attach it to wood..

We've got three of them, all using Grohe Rapid SL frames -one on an internal timber stud wall. No problems at all, solid as a rock.

We have them too using a geberit 1.12 frame with a 6L cistern and a push plate. No problems at all! I would favour a push plate over a push button for access reasons. Good luck.

I had a look at those frames and noticed that they connect to the floor as well as the wall. Is the main load of the toilet directed toward the floor, or spread out between the floor and the wall?
