Lighting - Colour Temperature for reading and computer ?

Need to replace a fluorescent tube over a desk at home. The previous tube is so old I cannot even see what the colour markings were.
Before I take pot luck at the shop, what colour would be best - warm white, white, cool white or daylight ?

Oddly enough I'm processing photos at the moment - I can set the colour temperature to anything I like
