Small wasp type things

Does anybody know what they are i have 100s in my garden trying to get pollen they have all the markings of a wasp but are very docile any ideas ?

Could be anything from a hoverfly to a hummingbird that's had a respray. Or it could be a small wasp.

Difficult to guess without a picture.
