I'm about to fit some worktops and have the jig and router etc.

Should I be using biscuits as well as the clamp bolts or are the bolts and adhesive OK on their own?

Many thanks

Use the biscuits as well otherwise the joint will move and be uneven

Bolts & adhesive will be sound mate - don't make more work for yourself & dont glue until you know it fits perfectly. Trust me when I say this unless you want glue everywherelaugh

As this man said. No need for biscuits if the job is done properly.

(If this is your first time doing worktops then do a practice run beforehand to learn how it all works. It's easy, but worktops are quite expensive and you don't want to be spoiling one through a simple mistake.)

Thanks guys
Yes it is my first time. Cut most of the joints today so the glueing comes on Monday.
Takes a long time trying to manoeuvre 3metre worktops on your own.

I agree, even longer when it's 4 metre x 900mm wide, god that was heavy.
