Solicitors & The House Buying Process

Hi

Got my mortgage sorted, found the property I want and am ready to put an offer in. I'm now after a conveyancing solicitor in the Blackburn area that's recommended. I've tried google for a sort of "trip advisor" style site for this kind of thing but they all seem to be just listings. Is there such a site or can anyone recommend me someone.

does it have to be in the blackburn area?

i used a pher and hes nowhere near london where i bought but was nice to shift some work a phers way and it meant i got the personal touch.

which area of blackburn are you looking at

Pher Pat H is a practising solicitor in or around that area.

Perhaps he could advise you who to use or avoid in that part of the world.

I used SFN solicitors in Burnley approx three years ago and found them to be pretty good. Not Blackburn but not far away either.

Although I'm living down south I come from the nothern parts and I used my mum and dad's solicitor for my conveyancing, they are based in Barnoldswick:

Moving from Witton up to West View Place. The annoying thing is, i'm working until 1400 tomorrow and then 0700 - 1900 until next Wednesday! (All extra money goes to the paying the solicitors etc. fees!) So not much time to get things sorted.
