... and why can't I get rid of it?



I weeded 2 weeks ago and it just seems to have come back stronger frown

got it growing on my xmas tree frown

Its roots are quite deep for not much up top too so it's easy to leave some of it in the ground.

I might have one of those in the yard - it has spiky stems? The seeds might be coming from that?

It's a trefoil (like clover), but there are many kinds of trefoil. A medick perhaps?

One of the harder weeds to control in a lawn since they banned the only thing that would kill it, but in a border glyphosate should work fine. But only spray it on the weeds not any other plants!

Yellow Oxalis,a real pain in the bum,probably imported with a plant you have bought,the little pod explodes shooting the seed a distance.

Glyphosate will kill it,be prepared for more if it has shot it's seed already.

It's a rental place and it's been around since before I was here I think. Can't get rid of it. I'll try your suggestions. Cheers smile

only benefit is it can be used as an orange dye and has loads of vitamin C
