I'm moving house and so have a 3-piece suite to get rid of. It consists of a 3 seater, 2 seater and armchair. Everthing is fine to sit on and they don't smell or anyting but the colour is best described as 'horrible brown and grey flower pattern'.

I need someone with a van to take them away and I live in Woodley, near Reading. Can supply pictures if need be. Anyone?

Don't want or need it, but you may have more luck on your local freecycle site.

Yes but I suspect the cost of hiring a van and driving to and from Reading will prevent this from being a bargain.

Still this should give the thread a bump. And I'd chuck them on e-bay for the cost of the e-bay ad.

I'll put pics on tonight. Unfortunately I have no custard so you will just have to take my word for it that they are mine!

I wouldn't describe them as modern.....they are more 'functional' and 'will appeal to a very select type of person'

Put it on gumtree. I've moved loads of household furniture on there for free.

The usual euphemism is 'rare' hehe

(like a Rolls Royce with a 2.0 engine and cloth seats)

They are now on Gumtree:

Hurry! Sofas this colour do not appear very often, never mind for free. Get a piece of history / art and create a centre piece for you living room / art gallery.
