I've just finshed picking up about 30 heavy duty rubble bags worth of slate from my garden as the puppy didnt like walking on it to get to the grass.

Anyone have any idea where i can either sell it or get rid of it? if i take it to a dump, i'll have to do about 10 trips and the dump is about 20 mins away, and then about 1 hour wait!

What colour and size is it? And where are you?

Put it back and train the puppy?

Or maybe a small path through it made from slate floor tiles?

If you're anywhere near Harrogate, I'll take a couple of bags off your hands.

Or put a plank over it for the puppy to walk on?

Too far for me. Mine is 'plum' I could just do with another couple of bags. the bulk bag didnt quite cover what I needed.

Doed that go plum / purple when wet?

I'm getting rid of a 1.5 tons of plum slate at the moment. I decided we had so much of it, it is going in a hippo bag and will be collected at some point.

seriously - ebay or something. 850kg slate mulch in a bulk bag is around £90.

I'm about to fork out for 1 ton of plum slate for my front garden beds.

I'd offer to come pick it up, but with stuff like this it's transport that's a problem.

For £130 I can buy the slate and get it delivered.

I'd have had the lot if you were closer.
